1st: Brought lollipops for my P6 tutee... She told me before that she doesn't like sweet stuff... But she chose two... =)
2nd: Bought some icing deco for my muffins... pretty, but pretty ex too...heh...
3rd: Finally decided what to buy for the rest of the teachers! At least something off my load... =)

counting my blessings...
three things that made me smile...
1st: I brought my ichigo flavoured pocky to school and shared with my colleagues...=))
2nd: I introduced my colleague, who teaches chinese, to Ji Mi! Because she has never read any of his books before! I promised her I will lend mine to her on Mon... =)
3rd: Took some photos in school of the students, as well as videos of the lower primary singing a hymn and ndp songs!! very sweet~~ =)

counting my blessings...
that's for today~! =)
1st: My mischievous P5 class had their mock test today, and for the first time after so many lessons with them, they can actually silently sit there and do their mock paper...they're students afterall, ain't they? How can I not help but to smile to myself upon seeing them working so seriously? =) p.s. they look more 'lovely' now... =)

sorry! slipped off my mind yesterday...here's the three things that made me smile yesterday!
1st: During contact time, our principal said, "I walked around the school during recess last week, and I observed something...(she paused for a while) We've got quite a number of obese students, don't we? (teachers chuckled) And I realise, they seems to enjoy the food more on Wednesday eh ('cause Wed is our fried food day)? (teachers chuckled again...but I think some teachers are feeling guilty as they chuckled) Teachers, if there are obese kids in your class, please tell them to start going on diet and exercise." I looked around, and noticed quite a significant number of teachers are not...very slim...so I was wondering how are they going to convey the message to their students in that figure of theirs...what is the student say, 'teacher, then how come you never go on diet?' LOL... And one more thing to add, I do know that some of the teachers love the Wednesday fried food too!! haha...

Counting my blessings...
Another 3 things that made me smile...
1st: Went to an art appreciation's meeting...and then the two teachers got me to do two art worksheets...well, since i'm pretty free at home, why not do them a favor? =)
2nd: My nie coordinator is happy with my second reflection....why would i not be happy? =D
3rd: I saw a kid being 'bullied' in midst of lesson, so i waited till the end of the lesson, then went over and speak to the 'bully' in a firm manner...i bet he's so afraid of me...hee...so shuang...=P

counting my blessings...
that's for today...
1st: Trial-ed my first muffin recipe found from the net...and it's really not bad! Except that I find that it should be sweeter... =)
2nd: Class95 dj said, "whenever you say something is impossible, it can never be impossible, because 'impossible' is made up of 'i m possible'. " That's really optimistic, isn't it? =) (i wish i can be as optimistic)
3rd: I wanted to go bathe but decided to type this post first, and my Class95 webcast played my favourite Corrinne May's NDP song... =D

2nd: My parents came back from an one-day malaysia trip with my favourite otahs and durian~
3rd: My bro had cravings for KFC so we went downstairs to buy takeaway and watched an interesting movie on tv while eating...that's life man...(excluding the sinful-ness) =)

struggling to stay awake to type three of the things that made me smile today...
1st: I finally bought my Dorothy Perkin's tube top!!! =D
2nd: My p6 tuition kid finally is talking about her personal stuff to me~~ She used to be a very quiet girl who doesn't talk about anything other than maths questions... At least she sort of opened up... =)
3rd: Finished my Pockys already...but restocked them from ntuc today! All thanks to my mummy who bought it for me, together with sweets, choc and my favourite cornflakes... =))

1st: I ate my pocky...in my staff room!! and shared it among my colleagues...ichigo pocky daisuki!!! =D
2nd: 2 of my colleagues told me that I look good in my dress-down attire! Love my sch's dress-down Friday... *big grins*
3rd: Our school sang Corrinne May's NDP theme today.... Love it!!! =))

counting my blessings...
three things that made me smile today... =)
1st: my favourite p3 class was learning how to plot graphs using those websites where you type in the details and they will construct the graph for you..then their teacher let them use any data they like, so they went around running like crazy in the com lab, asking their friends what colour/ice cream/sweets flavor, etc they like, to collect the data...then one of the kid asked was deciding what are the different colours to be used for survey, and so she asked me, 'teacher, you like green?' LOL...I was caught surprised, and end up saying, 'erm...okay eh...I'm fine with it..'
then there was another one, who was still trying to collate his data even when the lesson has ended, was trying to keep up with the class' movement to go to school gate, at the same time he turned and asked, 'teacher teacher, what ice cream you like?' and then he started rambling all the flavours out...I was really amused by his action (imagine a kid running forward and keep turning back to ask)...eventually I told him, 'it's okay, ask me again tomorrow okay?' =)) oh well my favourite ice cream is rum and raisin...is he gonna be stunned if I were to tell him that? =P
2nd: same class! oh man I seriously love this adorable class... when they were walking off, quite a few of them waved and say goodbye to me, smiling...kawaii ne~

regarding my 'sunshine'
in anyways, I wish to post this up to remind myself, as well as to update some of you...
well, I just realised that it is afterall not a very good habit to keep wanting to see my 'sunshine'... I felt that things are getting weird, in terms of those emotions within myself... I actually took the effort to dress nicer, ensure that my face is in good condition (with makeup still on and no peelings), just because I know that there's contact time today, and that I will see him.... Well in the end the morning session teachers got extended contact time so we had to stay behind while the afternoon teachers leave for their class... I was kind of disappointed, because I couldn't talk to him at all, and he wasn't sitting around me... =/ This is really different from then, when I was just purely wanting to see him in school and be contented after that...
This is really getting out of control, so I've made up my mind today, that I shall stop myself from hoping to see my 'sunshine' in school, and not try to find chances to talk to him...
My dear friends, please remind me when I start talking about him okies...
Let's pray hard that I'll be able to overcome it...

1st: A lot of kids wore their traditional costumes to school today to celebrate racial harmony, and they're really cute!! Too bad I don't get to see those p1 and 2s wearing it.... I'm sure they're even cuter! =)
2nd: My science cooperating teacher asked if I like the school, and encouraged me to appeal to shps for my next practicum, as well as when I graduate! It really feels good to be feeling welcomed to the big family... =)
3rd: There was this day a malay contract teacher asked me if I wanna join them for lunch, and I was doing some IQ qns so I didn't think much, and I gave a very quick reply 'No'... And only after that did I realise I was a little too harsh on words, even though I didn't mean it... But of course, he didn't know... And he stopped smiling and saying Hi, Bye to me ever since... I was telling my mummy today, and she said I should talk to him... But today, he said 'bye' to me and another nie trainee that was with me... I was so relieved, that I immediately responded with a big smile... Thank god he didn't hold a grudge against me... =D

1st: I went into p5/1 class with my teaching materials for p5/7, and some of the kids saw the young scientists magazines I was holding, and they started to tell their friends, 'hey, young scientists leh!' =) it's a pity I'm not teaching the class so I don't get to share it with them... But their reaction just told me that it is worthwhile to bring it for my class even though it can add up to quite a bit of weight to the stuff I'm carrying... =)
2nd: I wore my new top to school~ =D

counting my blessings...
the time of the day again! shall do it quickly before I go get my sleep!
1st: Bought my red canvas Levi's shoes!! Pretty pretty pretty! Gonna wear it to sch on my dress-down Fri... =D
2nd: Managed to catch(more of reserve actually) the last piece of the DorothyPerkin's tube top (for my size of course), hopefully it's really in good condition... Waiting patiently for it to arrive in T1's shop... =)
3rd: I was told last min to conduct lessons instead of doing relief (even though they are not supposed to ask me to conduct lessons) , I managed to 'tame' the p5 class (after much technical difficulties with plugging my lappy to the system)!! One of them even asked if I'm gonna be teaching them for the whole week... Too bad it's only for 2 days...heh... =))

1st: Intially I could not solve certain questions in the test paper I gave my tutee to do... But managed to solve it today... =D
2nd: I bought a new pair of jeans, a pair of office pants and two new tops! New clothes always make me smile...
3rd: When I was at G2000, there was a shop assistant who was really helpful - she actually made an intiative to help me look for the different cutting for office pants and the different sizes for me to try...

this time of the day is here, yet again...
1st: I finally passed Ji Mi's book to melia!! And she loves it!(that is all that matters) *big big grins*
2nd: Watched 'Despicable Me' today...more than enough to bring laughter throughout the 1.5 hrs... =)
3rd: Just because I wanted to use some magazines which I've already given my cousins for my lesson on mon, my uncle specially brought it over for me from Woodlands... That is really, really nice of him... =))
once again, I ended the day feeling that I'm such a lucky girl... =)

I sort of got 'inspired' by Class95 to carry out this short activity to count my blessings (hopefully I can make it a daily routine); to list 3 things that happened today that made me smile..
so let me start on today!
1st: My 'sunshine' facebooked me...(he actually read my fb posts?!) *big grins*
2nd: I was previously pretty worried about misinterpreting the questions for my weekly reflections, but I received an email from my NIE Supervising Coordinator today, telling me that I'm on the right track...oh well, if he's not being too generous with his comments, then... =))
3rd: Attended SHPS' assembly for the first time, and the mc was staging a play adapted from one of the stories in the bible, and got the kids to go out and volunteer to act as king and servants... It was really funny and enjoyable!! I wish I had my camera there to video it down! =)
Ain't I lucky? That's all for today...shall do it again tomorrow...=)
